Augmented Reality - Driving Footfall In-Store

Charity Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign USA

Working with Digital Agency, Ebow and, non-for profit Pine2Pink, we created an Augmented Reality Treasure Hunt app and GPS platform to manage multiple prize scenarios and win ratios, at scale, all over USA.

Retailers provided the prizes and consumers could collect ribbons in-store to win guaranteed, instant prizes. A win win for shoppers, retailers, consumers and also for Return2Sender who got work on this amazing and prestigious campaign.

Client: DIAGEO/Budweiser - Predict & Win

Activity: In store POS campaign to support Budweiser's FA Cup Sponsorship

How it Worked:

Consumers texted in their match predictions to be in with a chance to win FA Cup tickets and prizes from Budweiser.

Client: Vodafone

Activity: App to support Vodafone's Sponsorship of The Comedy Festival in The Iveagh Gardens

How it worked:

Comedy goers could download the app to get notifications for when gigs started, see where the tents were, learn about the acts and play the voice activated heckle-ometer.

There was even a Pokemon go esque Augmented Reality treasure hunt to win prizes!

Client: AVIVA Ireland

Activity: Apps to support AVIVA's January recruitment campaign.

How it worked:

One of our all time favorite pieces of work The AVIVA Heath Mate pedometer App contained over 500 walks in Ireland that people could take at their leisure.

People could use to app to engage in every day fitness activities and track their progress and earn badges.

Influencers and fitness gurus provided fitness tips and videos. Push notifications also provided people with news, tips and helpful updates.

Client: Coca Cola Zero

Activity: In-store Augmented Reality game to support Coca Cola sponsorship of World Cup 2018

How it worked:

Shoppers could scan QR code enabled POS to play an Augmented Reality mini football game for a chance to win replica footballs.

The game worked on latest versions of Safari and Chrome.

No app required!

Client: Augmented Reality Conference RDS

Activity: AR Enabled Hex Bin Point Of Sale

How it worked:

Visitors to the RDS Augmented Reality Conference ( including Trade & Enterprise Minister Pat Breen!) could scan the logo on the exhibitor point of sale and use the app to literally play basketball against the cardboard hex bin.

If you got over ten balls in the hoop you won a basketball instantly!

Client: Marketing Network/Keeling's

Activity: Keelings Promotional Website with URN's

How it worked:

Shoppers who bought a Keeling's product entered a unique code and 3 word slogan on the Keeling's promotional microsite for a chance to win a family staycation.

All entrants received a voucher for Triton Holiday homes.

Client: Bank Of Ireland

Activity: Youth Banking App

The Project:

We created an app with games and quizzes where youth banking customers could learn all about money.

Players received badges for every quiz they answered correctly, as well as coins and badges for levels they reached within the Olly Flyer HTML 5 game.

Client: Irish Youth Foundation & Brennan's

Activity: Free prints giveaway to support Brennan's sponsorship of Bloomsday

The Project:

People shared their Bloomsday photos on Instagram using a dedicated hashtag to receive a free photo print in the post and a chance to win prizes.

Jameson Pub Tour Voucher App

Client: IDL Pernod Ricard/Jameson

How it worked:

Visitors to Dublin could download the app to help them discover the best Jameson themed pubs in Dublin.

If you completed the tour and visited 4 pubs, an in- app loyalty card rewarded you with a free serve of Jameson redeemable in outlet via a dedicated iPad installation.

The app included shareable, personalised, pub tour certifictes and we even created an Augmented Reality enabled James Joyce selfie cam!

Open Gate Brewery Treasure Hunt

Client: DIAGEO/Open Gate Brewery

The Project:

We created a VR enabled app where Open Gate Brewery Stakholders and new staff could learn about the brewery by using the VR headset.

Special markers within the app experience awarded instant prizes for players who got found the golden coins ( bottle tops!).

Dairygold On Pack Offer

Client: Goosebump /Kerry Foods

How it worked:

We created an instant win SMS campaign where shoppers texted in a unique code for a chance to win a Magimix everyday.

All winners texted back their name and address and prizes were dispatched.

The campaign generated a massive 6% play rate and resulting sales uplift!

World Cup Chat Bot

Watch N Win Match Planner / Predictor

How it worked:

We created a chatbot within Facebook Messenger where World Cup fans could find out what games are on TV and predict scores for a chance to win prizes.
