Jameson Bottle

Jameson wanted to celebrate the re-launch of their iconic Jameson bottle so they gave us the opportunity to create an Augmented Reality Jameson bottle experience.

 

App users could scan the bottle to reveal a 3-D like hologram experience on the bottle and spin the circular navigation system to reveal unique facts and videos about the bottle.

 

The app used a custom open source Intel computer vision library and it was one of the fist apps to employ augmented reality in this way.

Aviva Health Mate App

January is the time of year that people renew their Health Insurance and decide which provider they will go to.  It’s also the time of year when people make new years resolutions to get fit ( and if you check the app store you’ll see that fitness apps rank very highly in the app store). 

In keeping with Aviva’s core proposition of ‘looking after you’ we developed an app that literally help people look after themselves. 

Features of the app included specially curated walks and guides that people could walk or run and of course a pedometer and fitness tracker so that people could track their walk or run, save, share it, graph it and analyse their performance.  There were also fitness videos, health tops and app notifications, plus email and social updates to keep the app top of mind. Oh and you could also link the app to your iTunes or Spotify. 

The app reached number one in the Health and Fitness section of the app store and reached number 5 in the main app store. 

The app generated over 40k in PR.

Vodafone GameDay App

Working with The Federation Of Irish Sport and our client, Vodafone, we developed a ‘Game Day’ club finder app and (hierarchical, multi-user login)  content management system which enabled all club owners to add and update the GPS / location of their clubs so fans and visiting teams could find their club on Game Day. 

 

The app currently aggregates over 3000 clubs and goes from strength to strength.

Our Lady’s Children Hospital Crumlin

We developed OLCHC’s formulary app and a content management system which allowed Pharmacy to update all the latest medical information and cascade that information down to consultants and doctors on their phones.

Vodafone Comedy

Vodafone have been proud sponsors of the comedy festival in The Iveagh Gardens since 2010 and a world class mobile network needed a world class app! 

 

The app contained times and listings, a comedy planner, an interactive map, as well as an augmented reality treasure hunt where app users could track down some of characters for a chance to win last minute passes and exclusives.

 

In addition to this a voice activated voice game heckled you with size cracks, jokes and funny voices. 

 

We also created a communications calendar or app notifications, alerts, competitions and other app content to keep people up to date with festival news as well as any last minute changes.

Match Planner

If you’ve ever wondered whether a match you want to see is being shown on TV in Ireland then our Football Match Planner app is for you. 

 

The app aggregates all of the latest games that are being shown on RTE, SKY, BT, TV3, BBC, etc. and of course ‘it sends out a message’ ( meaning you can sign up for app notifications and chances to win in our brand sponsored watch and win games).

Jameson

Jameson wanted to drive footfall into some of their mist valuable Dublin pubs and also secure vital point of sale visibility amongst their publicans. 

We developed The Destination Dublin Pub Tour App where people who downloaded the app were taken on a pub tour around Dublin using maps, GPS, mobile vouchers, augmented reality photo filters ( you could get your photo taken with James Joyce!). 

Everyone who competed the tour got a free voucher for a free serve of Whiskey at The Jameson Distillery in Smithfield.

GAA iOS App

Working alongside Digital Agency Ebow, we developed the GAA iOS app ( which has now over 200, 00o downloads).

 

The project certainly put us through our paces and remains one of our best projects yet.

Aer Lingus iPad & SMS Activation

Working alongside Irish International we created an iPad app and SMS solution for a 3 day event in Liffey Shopping Centre.  Visitors to Liffey Valley received a ‘boarding pass’ when they entered the shopping centre, then texted in a  code to enter the draw and then we sent them back a barcode boarding pass to their phones. Then they received a ‘boarding now’ SMS telling them to visit the Are Lingus area and take their seat on the mini Are Lingus plane. They then scanned their boarding pass for a chance to win tickets to one of Aer Lingus’s new destinations.
